A native of Southern Humboldt County and graduate of the Southern Humboldt Unified School District, Elan worked for several years at U.S. Bank in consumer lending in both Eureka and Fortuna, after which she joined a local mortgage company specializing in home and construction lending. Elan's native Humboldt County roots and experience have given her a unique understanding of properties in the area, and have allowed her to be highly successful in structuring loans for those properties. Elan is the Affiliate Liaison on the Humboldt Association of Realtor's Board, she is an Ambassador for the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce, she is also an active member of Soroptimist International of Eel River Valley where she serves as a Director on the Board.

Teresa worked at the former Humboldt Bank for ten years in both commercial and residential lending, the last 5 of which she served as VP, Real Estate Manager. After managing residential and construction lending and establishing Humboldt Bank as the largest lender in Humboldt County, Teresa left Humboldt Bank to help John Dalby and the North Coast Venture group realize their vision of opening a truly local Bank on the North Coast. That mission was accomplished in March 2004 with the opening of Redwood Capital Bank in downtown Eureka. Since then Teresa has established a well-respected mortgage and construction department headquartered in the Eureka office, and in September 2005 she was joined by Elan Puno in opening a loan production office in Fortuna. Teresa is an active member of Eureka Rotary Club and a CASA advocate.
